Frank Brockamp was the younger brother of Norbert and just as tall. He filled his departed brother's shoes just as ablely on the Bulldog basketball teams from 1937-39 serving as captain of the undefeated NDSD 1939 team which won 14 straight games, the only undefeated basketball NDSD team on record. Upon graduation he, too, played independent ball longer than his brother and became very well known in his home area.
