Robert Balzer was the fourth NDSD basketball player to score over 1,000 points while playing for the NDSD Bulldogs. Balzer made the All-Ramsey County and All-District Tournament Teams. He also starred in track in the shot put and javelin events and the 100-meter dash. Later at Gallaudet, Balzer became a 3-sport athlete.
