Paul Blaine LeMieux died on Saturday, January 9th after a two year battle with cancer he was 69. Paul Blaine LeMieux died on Saturday, January 9th after a two year battle with cancer he was 69. He is survived by his son, Jack; brother, Allen; sisters, Devona, Lee, Mary; and thirty nieces and nephews. Preceded by father, David; mother, Helen; brother, Robert; and sister, Theresa. Blaine was born in Stanley, North Dakota. He attended the North Dakota school for the deaf in Devils Lake. Blaine graduated from Gallaudet University in Washington D.C. in 1964. He was an avid nature lover and enjoyed hiking, backpacking and skiing. He retired to Vancouver, WA ten years ago. He was an active member of the deaf community.
Paul will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
The LeMieux family would like to thank and praise everyone who works with Hospice South West and the Ray Hickey Hospice House. The family will have a private memorial this summer.
